ARC DANCE PRODUCTION'S BARN DANCE SOCIAL
Seattle, WA: ARC Dance Productions is holding a Barn Dance Social, complete with live band and Caller to rally the community and gallop towards future sustainability of its education and performance programs.

ARC Dance has been offering opportunities for the community to participate in dance performances and classes since 1999. In 2004, it found a permanent home in North Ballard where the Company and the School share 9,000 sq feet of studios, dressing rooms, and offices.

Saturday, October 19 ARC will welcome the public to their home in Ballard. This fundraiser is a directed giving campaign to meet ARC's 2013 fund drive goals.

Complete with local band The Onlies (Riley Calcagno, Samantha Braman, Leo Shannon, and RuthMabel Boyntz on fiddles, guitar, mandolin, and bass) and local Caller Sherry Nevins, it is sure to be a fun time for all. There will also be a carved pumpkin contest and costume contest. Refreshments will be served to keep the hoofin and good times rollin'!

Tax-deductible contributions support the following funds:

ARC Dance Scholarship - Goal $4,000
This is the general fund for students attending the Children's, Student's, and Summer Dance programs. The fund has helped reduce tuition costs for over 108 dancers since 2005.

Rising Star Scholarship - Goal $6,000

After her diagnosis with Leukemia in 2006, per her wishes, the Julia Harig Scholarship has helped eight pre-professional dancers pursue their dreams of a career in dance.

ARC Sustain Support Fund - Goal $100,000
Without ARC Dance Productions, our education programs, facility, and performance opportunities would not exist. This fund provides the following: Arc Youth Dance Company and Arc School of Ballet's performance opportunities, ARC Dance Company's daily operations of our facility, theater costs, professional dancers, costumes, choreographers, musicians, sets, staff, marketing, and theater supplies.
