Evening Concert: Ignacio Barroa in concert with the BC Jazz Band
Bellevue College Music Department Presents:
The 24th Annual Jazz Band Festival. The Gala Concert is part of the Jazz Band Festival and we are especially excited to have Cuban-American drummer Ignacio Berroa as a guest artist for this year's festival. Ignacio is without question, one of the greatest drummers in the jazz idiom. Jazz Legend Dizzy Gillespie best defined Ignacio as:
the only Latin drummer in the world in the history of American music that intimately knows both worlds: his native Afro Cuban music as well as Jazz
The concert features Ignacio Berroa and the Bellevue College Jazz Band.
