Three concerts of vocal music at Pyatt Hall will feature BC composers and performers.

Singin in the Rain opens on February 15 (7:30) with the Hayley Laufer Duo, familiar to Vancouver audiences from the Blueridge Festival. Vancouver-based soprano Dorothea Hayley and her duo partner, the Venezuelan pianist Manuel Laufer, present "Night Sparks", coaxing us with nocturnal music by Schubert and Purcell into 20th Century works of Webern, Cage, Babbitt. BC composer Dorothy Chang is represented with her *Songs of Woods and Water*.

Singin' in the Rain continues with soprano Sharon Harms and pianist Joan Forsyth on March 8. The series concludes with the Bowers Fader Duo on April 3. All events at Pyatt Hall.
