Incessant Hum: Gala and Performance, Opus Two Hall
Colorado Chamber Players presents a world premiere of a new music/theatre hybrid, with a script by Jeffrey Neuman, directed by Mare Trevathan. Music of late Beethoven is woven into the script.
As the world celebrates the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven, we explore the emotional world that Beethoven experienced, as he lost his hearing and ability to perform as a pianist and conductor. Two actor perform Neumans script, along with excerpts from late works by Beethoven.
Tonights performance is a gala fundraiser for the Colorado Chamber Players at Opus Two Hall, with a performance, heavy appetizers, and wine. 6:30 appetizers, 7 pm performance.
