A talented California couple who have performed with some the biggest stars of the past four decades will entertain August 4th on the stage of the Beaver Opera House. Longtime Laguna Beach locals, Beth and Steve Wood have a long trail of accomplishments in the music field.
As founding members of the legendary band Honk, they toured extensively with Loggins and Messina, Chicago and The Beach Boys. Additional milestones include live and/ or recording appearances with Jackson Browne, Sting, George Harrison, The Moody Blues, and Paul McCartney. Beth and Steve have been together for over 45 years so, as Beth says with a smile, "we're getting pretty good at this". Beth produced the Tuesday night Laguna Beach songwriters showcase for nearly 10 years, which became a way station for a tremendous number of highly talented and accomplished performers.
Steve Wood is an award winning composer and producer of scores for MacGillivray-Freeman IMAX films. For a decade he was also the keyboardist and music director for Kenny Loggins.
Beth Fitchet Wood has recorded 5 solo CDs, including the recently released, "Left Right Here".
