SENSORY FRIENDLY SCREENING: AMAZON ADVENTURE 2D
ABOUT: To provide a more sensory-sensitive environment for individuals on the autism spectrum, we will bring lights up and lower the sound in the movie auditorium. Audience members are welcome to get up, sing, walk, dance, and shout without worrying about someone complaining.
All films will be presented in 2D. No trailers will be shown before the movie.
Because some have special dietary needs, families are allowed to bring their gluten-free snacks from home. Guests are also permitted to bring blankets or other small items that will make them feel comfortable.
SYNOPSIS: Amazon Adventure tells the epic, true story of explorer Henry Bates fascinating 11-year journey through the visually stunning and biodiverse Amazon rainforest as a young man who risks his life for science in the 1850s. As in any great detective story, audiences will experience, in immersive IMAX®, the compelling clues Bates unearths in his major discovery of the phenomenon of mimicry, whereby certain animals adopt the look of others that helps them deceive predators and gain an advantage to survive.

MILITARY PRICES: We offer military prices for active or retired military personnel. Maximum four tickets per I.D. PLease be prepared to show a valid Military I.D. upon request.

ARRIVAL TIME: Doors open 20 minutes prior to show time.
BACKPACKS AND LARGE BAGS: Backpacks, oversized handbags and large bags are not permitted in the IMAX theater. Management reserves the right to inspect all bags. We strongly recommend you leave your items in your car before you head to the theater.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES: Popcorn, snacks and beverages are available at the IMAX Concessions Stand. Outside food is not permitted in the IMAX Theater.
