Jo Passed, Scott Yoder, and Blood Capsules at the Firefly Lounge
Jo Passed originally consisted of Jo and his friend and drummer Mac Lawrie. The two moved to Montreal together, and toured the far-right corner of North America. After Jo's return to Vancouver, multi-instrumentalist Bella Bébé joined the band in January of 2016, and multimedia artist Megan-Magdalena Bourne joined on bass, after working on a video for the song "Rage" (from Jo Passed's 'Out' EP).
Having worked with Bella, Mac, and Megan to create the live experience of 'Their Prime', it's touring and hearing people's reactions to the album that are at the forefront of Jos mind. "It's like I've put all my negativity into a place and now I'm lighting it on fire as a way of releasing it... by putting it out on Sub Pop, ha!" Indeed, sometimes you have to banish the bad vibes to get to the great ones.

Yoder- Emerging from the wreckage of his childhood band The Pharmacy, Scott Yoder arrived clad in a black cloak, stomping to the beat of his own sparkling tambourine. Over the course of two LPs he has toured the world, espousing a more personal distillation of his cathartically melancholic song craft. Nearly always on the road, he has honed his live
act with a crunching, yet sensitive backing band of similarly-inclined misfits. The glitter-folk balladeer, adorned in mascara & bell bottoms invites you to sway to his entrancing charm as he releases a series of 6 singles in 2019.

Blood Capsules are guys who like bright colors and make weird pop songs. Taking inspiration from bands like The Long Winters, The Mountain Goats, Amateur Love, and The Wrens, The Blood Capsules make guitar pop prone to taking left turns. The Band Consists of Guitarist and Vocalist Zach McCowin; bassist/co-zach, Zach Songster; keyboardist/philosophy major, Carter Stoddard; part-time drummer/full-time professional, Preston Manuel; one-time Slayer fan Gary Colson on secondary guitar, and Auxiliary Percussionist Richard Rossi.
