Now listen up, cats! The Philadelphia Freedom Band has been working up a stellar Roaring Twenties themed program for you, and we think it is the bee's knees. Downright ducky. Ya follow? And it's not all about hot jazz, either - a lot of other really swell music came out of that decade.
We're trying out a new joint for this concert, and it ain't no dive. In fact, it's a real looker - downright peachy. We would especially love it if you joined us in getting dolled up for this event, so throw on your glad rags (a ritzy number, if you like) and hightail it over to West Philly for a rip-roaring, gay old time.
This event is free and open to the public, y'see, but if you could be a doll and spot us a few clams, we sure would appreciate it. Copacetic refreshments and raffles as usual! We promise to hit on all sixes - see you then!
