David Gross and Fred Van Vactor
David Gross is a singer and a songwriter who just loves to bring a song to life using six strings and a magical voice. He writes songs with intelligent, life-affirming lyrics and moving, passionate melodies. David's goal is to transport the listener to a beautiful alternate reality for a few minutes at a time.
When he's not stuck in Portland traffic or riding his bike freely and dangerously around town, Fred Van Vactor writes songs about: love, hernias, robberies, food, bicycles, Mexico, and lesbians, but mostly love. He enjoys playing different characters in song; usually exuding joy, humor, and good natured fun. When Fred opens his mouth, expect the unexpected. Fred loves Artichoke and Artichoke loves Fred.
