JACK PINE AND THE FIRE return to the scene of their inaugural CD Release performance at the legendary Irene's Pub to celebrate the 8 years together! With 3 releases under his belt and nominations at the JUNOs and CFMAs, Jack Pine is still kickin out heavy folk jams, howlin' like a lone wolf and singing out wry wordplay and sometimes-subtle social commentary... Behind him, the fire remains blazing! JPATF is Dobro, mandolin, upright bass and eclectic alt-folk rhythms, a characteristically gritty+dynamic all-acoustic style, and a terrible habit of beating the traditional string-band sound deep into the ground. Watch out for the return of Andre Desroches slapping away masterfully on his upside-down acoustic guitar!

JOHN IAN (+BAND) is Raw. Unpolished. Real. And for the first time he's not alone on stage! At times somber but never hopeless, in his intense, poetic and heartfelt songs inspired by folk, rock and alternative music. John Ian tells stories, observes and ponders. Despite the sadness and the madness in this world there always is a way out of the darkness into the light. John is a member of the LGBTQ community and the fact that hes transgender explains the long journey and many detours he had to take to reach a state of finally feeling okay in his own skin and having a voice he feels comfortable singing with.
