Workshop with Rhiannon at the Arcata Playhouse
Rhiannon comes to Arcata to offer an all-day improv masterclass for intermediate and advanced singers, teachers and professionals. Using Rhiannon's Vocal River exercises and opening to the power of improvisation,our practice can go deep and strong. We will devote our energy to uncovering how improvisational singing, in teaching and performance, can change lives.
As a beautiful musical force, improvisation teaches us to stay awake and present in every moment. In order to balance creativity and craft, we will intersect technical skills with personal development and spiritual practice.
Register for the workshop, and you will receive a complimentary ticket to Rhiannon's evening performance.
Schedule:
Workshop session 1: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Lunch on your own: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Workshop session 2: 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Evening concert: 8:00 pm
