Democrats Abroad Film Series 'The River And The Wall'
Follow along as five friends travel 1,200 miles from El Paso to the Gulf of Mexico on horseback, mountain bike, and canoe, in order to document the beauty of the Rio Grande borderlands and examine the potential impact of a wall, will have on the natural environment and the people who immigrate through this same landscape. By the end of their journey, the human side of the immigration debate eclipses everything. Winner of the South by Southwest Film Festival 2019. 97 minutes.
