This ticket is to observe the Broadway Master Class with Jeremy Morse. Join us in the audience to observe the work of master teachers with local theatre students.
Parents, theatre directors, students, friends, and musical theatre lovers are encouraged to attend. This ticket is for observation only. If you want to participate in the workshop, please visit the Sherwood Center for the Arts registration page.
ABOUT WORKSHOP:
This ADVANCED LEVEL WORKSHOP offers professional training for musical theatre performers ages 12 through adult. Participating students should have some performing experience and be ready to dive in fearlessly, finding new ways of exploring their work. This specialized workshop will include individual feedback on song selection, audition cuts, and audition technique followed by a Q&A about life as a professional actor. Limited to 10 participants; each participant must prepare two vocal selections. Parents, directors, and community members are invited to observe the class ($10).
The Broadway Master Class Series brings top theatre professionals to Sherwood, giving students the opportunity to learn from the best! From audition technique and choosing material to the intricacies of acting a song, these New York-based artists draw from a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry. Both classes will be accompanied by a professional musical director/pianist.
