Holiday Extravaganza
America's oldest community orchestra brings familiar and not-so-familiar Christmas and other seasonal favorites to the grand Edwardian archtecture of Sanctuary Hall at East Weymouth Congregational Church. Enjoy all the elegance and festivity of an orchestral concert without all the hassle and cost of traveling into Boston.
You'll hear the Boston Pops arrangement of "A Christmas Festival," which includes Handel's "Joy to the World," celebrating its 300th anniversary in 2019.
You'll stand on your feet or in your heart for the "Hallelujah Chorus" from "Messiah."
You'll sing along to your sacred and secular Christmas favorites. And you'll even get some exercise when maestro Robert Babb leads you through "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
