They Were Once is a dance theatre performance about acceptance, rebellion, control, perception, and love through a genderqueer lens. This performance will include contemporary dance and theatrical elements performed by Jacqui Dugal with sound produced & designed by Jamie Amadruto.
This event is made possible by the Queens Council on the Arts with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
NOTE: Strobe lights are used in this performance and brief nudity may occur.
