Mandolin Mirth
The Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra (BMO) presents a concert of holiday music arranged for mandolin and guitar orchestra and woodwinds. Currently under the leadership of Conductor Mark Linkins, the BMO performs a diverse array of Christmas carols from around the world, popular holiday music, and classical seasonal works. Mandolin-family instruments, guitar, clarinet, flute, and voice (soprano Bea Gilbert) combine to create a distinctive sound which ranges from contemplative to celebratory.
