Messiah Part 1: The Beauty of Christmas (High River)

The Foothills Philharmonic Chorus joined by the Foothills Philharmonic Orchestra presents The Beauty of Christmas with Part 1 of Handel's Messiah and a selection of music highlighting the birth of Jesus Christ. There will also be a small selection of other pieces, including Bizet's L'Arlesienne Suite No. 2.
Handel's Messiah is an English oratorio composed in 1741. Part 1 tells of the prophecy of the Messiah and of his virgin birth.
