A Gospel Music Celebration! With Anthony G. Evans
Anthony Evans believes Gospel Music is the growing musical force today and should be enjoyed by all people. It is also the root of the Blues, Jazz, Pop and Rock musical tree. In this Musical Celebration the Grammy nominated Evans and his talented friends bring the joy of Gospel music to Pangea and present an evening of hope, happiness and inspiration.
Anthony's varied career has taken him all over the world as a musical director, performer, writer and teacher. He has
performed in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Greece and 3 times for the Pope
at The Vatican.
His career began at 18 when he was discovered by Fame's director Alan Parker. This led to a Grammy nomination for his work on the soundtrack of that film. He has worked
with Patti La Belle, The Clark Sisters, Tremaine Hawkins, Melba Moore and Queen Esther Marrow among others, and was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award in Washington, D.C. for his work on INSPIRATION at The Fords Theater.
Anthony directs 4 different choirs and is always interested in serving the community. He is currently also the Choir Director of The Voices of Convent

Seating at Pangea is communal. Other guests may be seated at the table. There is a $20 per person food and beverage minimum at the tables. Guests may order dinner in the music room once it opens at 9PM.
Food or Drinks purchased in the front bar/dining room will not be applied to the performance space minimum.
Seating for the show begins at 9PM. Seating is first come first serve.
LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE SEATED AT THE MANAGEMENT'S DISCRETION AND ONLY IF THERE IS A SUITABLE BREAK IN THE PERFORMANCE.
