Winter Wishes is our annual holiday gift-giving program and an important part of our work to support families across New York City. Every fall children and teens write their wishes in the form of a letter. Each letter is matched with volunteers who purchase personalized gifts for tens of thousands of children and teens every year; helping to make the holiday season a little brighter.
In line with our mission to meet the most pressing community needs in the most impactful ways, Winter Wishes 2019 focuses our efforts on children and teens from ages 418 from low-income families. Our program includes partners from family shelters, public housing facilities and public schools with high economic need.
