Saturday Night Acoustic Showcase
A Night of superb music, showcased in the quaint cozy Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater.
Showcase will feature:
Nikki Schilling, Waking Maya Band and Free Harmony with Katie Weed
7pm - Nikki Schilling - is a talented singer, songwriter and pianist from the Everett, who has been playing piano since she was 8 years old. She started singing and composing music at a young age and won awards as a jazz vocalist in high school. She went on to study both jazz and classical musical performance at Edmonds Community College. Her repertoire is vast- including favorites from jazz, soul, R&B, pop, new age and classical music genres. Her singing is reminiscent of jazz greats Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O'Day or contemporary artists Norah Jones and Adele. Nikki also regularly plays with veteran Seattle bassist Jeff Davies and their band "Nikki & The Night Owls" featuring one of the Northwest's best percussionists - Akim Finch and veteran guitarist Christian Fattoruso.

8 - Waking Maya is an original Indie Gypsy-Rock band based out of Stanwood, WA. A dynamic and unique sound that is always changing and evolving. Together for over 5 years, they have known each other through life's travels, coming together to make music that inspires and uplifts. Fronted by The Woods Sisters, who are making it their mission to create a global community based on love and creativity. The sisters want to inspire people to live a soul-centered life, while encouraging connection through their community events.

9 - Free Harmony & Katie Weed
Chuck Dingée and Sharon Maysons beautiful vocals are what make Free Harmony unique and a treat to listen to. They formed the duo in 2017 and have been busy entertaining people in the Northwest ever since. https://www.facebook.com/freeharmonyband
Chuck - A founding member of Bellingham's popular classic rock band The Walrus, has been singing and playing in the area for over 40 years. He has an eclectic repertoire of hundreds of songs from Gershwin to Beatles to Pink Floyd.
Sharon - Having sung all her life, has an incredibly smooth voice and performs in local Northwest bands High Spirits and Pacific Twang.
Together they play an entertaining mix of songs ranging from the 60s to present, and in March 2019, Free Harmony was opening act for the band America at the Tulalip and Legends Casinos in Washington state.
Katie Weed - who often performs with Chuck and Sharon, will be joining them on violin, mandolin, guitar, and vocals. Katie was born into a musical family, studied music and has performed throughout Europe, Asia and North America.
Music from 3 extraordinary ensembles in 1 terrific acoustic showcase with 2 intermissions, which will give you an opportunity to meet the performers and enjoy a lite snack.
