Samizdat is back on the block! Still driven by our original mission to make dance music accessible to all, we've got an infusion of new energy within the collective.
Without further adieu, Samizdat invites you to join us for a spontaneous night of fun at Re-bar on Saturday, October 12th. Come out and get lost in bass with us.
About the DJs:
Harbingers of Boom
United by their mutual love for mischief and polyrhythmic bass music, Queen Bee and Macksimal have teamed up as the Harbingers of Boom. They'll be unveiling the fruits of their labor with a special two-hour tag-team set that will keep the floor poppin' in its traversal of the genre spectrum.
Alchemix
A purveyor of funky, infectious dance grooves and feel-good vibes, DJ Achemix started DJing in the 90s with two turntables and a crate of vinyls. Born and raised in South Seattle, Alchemix is no stranger to the Seattle EDM scene and has found multiple ways to express himself musically. An old school bboy at heart, his original style is funk and hip hop which he masterfully infuses with house and electro trap, inspired by his favorite, DJ Angelo. Alchemix will be dropping his first EP "Oddible Freakquencies later this year.
