Fall 2019 Concert
Mozart's "Vespers" was written in 1780 for Salzburg Cathedral, the last one he wrote for the cathedral. The uplifting "Laudate Dominum" is especially beloved.
Dvorák's "Te Deum", written in 1892 just before his first trip to America, was composed with the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus discovery of the Americas in mind.
