Serenade for Mallarmé
A concert of music written especially for Mallarmé during our 30 year history. In memory of Dr. Robert Ward, the venerable Pulitzer-Prize winning composer from Durham who passed away last April, we present his Serenade for Mallarmé, commissioned and first performed by Mallarmé in 1991. Several other works for the combination of flute, viola, cello and piano will be performed.
The gala includes a reception and silent auction.
