Join the Everett Philharmonic Orchestra for its Fourth Season opening concert on October 12, 2013, from 7-9 PM at the Everett Civic Auditorium.
The opening work (selected by Spring Fling raffle winner Patrice Weed Shearer) will be the Overture to Ruslan and Ludmilla by Glinka.
Next is Prokofiev's exciting Violin Concerto featuring a northwest favorite, James Garlick, violinist.
The final work will be the beloved Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. Indeed a romantic evening of beautifully passionate Russian music.
Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs will share his insights and historical details at the pre-concert stage side chat at 6:00 pm. Mr. Garlick will also share some tidbits as well.
(You will also be able to get your first choice of seating for the concert!)
Box Office will open at 5:45 to facilitate purchasing tickets at the door.
