Speaking of Symphonies
Music of Haydn and Mozart
Tactus Chamber Orchestra presents a concert that explores the musical language of these two master composers, delving into what makes their music so engaging. Featuring narration by Music Director Warren Puffer Jones, the concert includes excerpts from Mozart's Oboe Concerto, "Paris" symphony, and the Marriage of Figaro as well as Haydn's The Creation, and concludes with Haydn's "Oxford" Symphony.
Audience members will experience the music up close, much like audiences from Mozart's and Haydn's time would have.
