Kontras Quartet: House Concert
Celebrate fall with an intimate concert experience. We've entitled this classic Kontras Quartet program ""Leyendas: Legends from faraway lands, legendary composers for all time. It combines two beloved quartets of Haydn and Schubert with an adventurous work by Gabriela Lena Frank.
The concerts namesake, Leyendas: An Andean Walkabout by Frank, is a colorful journey into the heart and soul of the Andes Mountains, charmingly balanced on either side by Haydns sweet Quartet in D major Op. 20, #4, and Schuberts epic Death and the Maiden.
We'll see you any time after 6:30pm for a complimentary glass of wine and light hors-d'oeuvres. Then at 7:00, sit back, relax in the beautiful Miller loft, and experience this dynamic performance up close and personal.
This is an RSVP-only event; we are limited to 40 guests, so be sure to reserve your spaces early! $40/adults, kids under 12 free!
