Folk Music & The Power of Community
Seattle has a rich music history, with folk music having an important impact on the sounds of the Pacific Northwest that remains present. To share how folk has stood out in Washington State, the evening will feature renowned KEXP DJ Greg Vandy, who will be speaking about the significance of the state in famed folk musician Woody Guthrie's music.

In collaboration, musician Joe Seamons will be entertaining guests with his unique mash-up of performance education and folk tunes.

Each ticket purchased includes two drink tickets and free (that is right, free!) nibbles, prepared by the Dunbar Room chef!

All proceeds from ticket sales for this event benefit The Vera Project.
Event sponsored by Murano Senior Living, where retirement and luxury playfully mingle. Independent living, assisted living and memory care services. Opening in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood October 2019.
