Open Eyes with Mary Guzman
"Open Eyes, Queer Film Night" will take place the first Friday of each month at the Femina Potens Art Gallery.Open Eyes features local artist's provocative, critical, and engaging films. This October Femina Potens proudly pressents the talented Mary Guzman. Guzman is a Cuban American filmaker, residing in San Francisco. Her award winning films have screened in Spain, Italy, Australia. On the evening of October 3, at 7pm, Guzman will be presenting the following films: Mind if I call you sir?, Desi's looking for a new girl, Dangerous Kisses, Worst case scenario: Butch Edition, Worst case scenario: Femme Edition, Mechanics daydream, Do the Math. A question and answer session will follow the film screening, along with wine and cookies. We invite the public to screen their short films that are 5 minutes or under in a film open mic before the featured film of Mary Guzman.
