The Side Yard Farm & Kitchen brings seed to plate nomadic brunches and suppers to ANY Portland location, sometimes in the middle of nowhere. Well, this time we're doing 'Dinner & a Movie' on a half acre abandoned urban meadow located in the NE Cully Neighborhood.
Join us on Friday evening, August 30th for movie bites and cocktails in front of the big screen in the great out doors. On the screen will be playing the 1983 classic, The Big Chill. One of the best movies and soundtracks of all time!

Chef/ Farmer Stacey Givens of The Side Yard is a combination of an urban farmer and chef. Based in Northeast Portland's Cully Neighborhood, herself along with dedicated volunteers grow diverse vegetables on two urban lots. She sells her harvests to local restaurants, including Cocotte, Grain & Gristle, and Ned Ludd, in what she calls "chef-to-chef" produce service. The farm also offers kids camp, workshops and catering.
Thanks to 119 amazing supporters of The Side Yard for helping fund the 'Nomadic Chef' project on Kickstarter.
