Opera on Tap- Wisconsin presents Operatic Cabaret

Opera on Tap- Wisconsin is proud to be the opening act for ARCo's production of Dario Fo's farce, They won't pay? We won't pay!

This is Opera on Tap-Wisconsin's first performance in the Arc Theatre and second appearance at St Kate- the Arts Hotel! The 90-minute performance will feature selections from standard operatic repertoire as well as selections from musical theatre and art song.

Singers scheduled to appear are Elizabeth Smith, Dana Carlson, George Abbott III, and Tyler Williams. Elizabeth Biermann will be accompanying the singers for this event.

Opera on Tap- Wisconsin is the 13th chapter of Opera of Tap. Founded in 2004 in Brooklyn, New York, Opera on Tap now encompasses roughly 20 chapters around the United States and in Europe.

Opera on Tap- Wisconsin was founded in 2013 as Opera on Tap- Milwaukee. During the organization's six year tenure, they have presented two opera premieres as well as several concerts in and around the Milwaukee area.
