John Manns with Dale Jones, Anne Heyen and Eric Smith

John Manns, long time Artichoke Stage performer and Award winning Portland Songwriter returns with Dale Jones (on stand up bass), Ann Heyen ( backing vocals) and Eric Smith ( mandolin and guitar). Expect some new songs as well as favorites. We will also feature a set by Dale and Ann doing their original tunes.

An art exhibit of new paintings by John Manns will be on display at the Cafe.

John has been performing on the Artichoke stage for over 20 years and features toe tapping Americana as well as storytelling songs with the flavor of Dave Carter and Lyle Lovett. The band's sound is full and bright, and the vocal harmonies are clear and on pitch.
John was voted Portland Performer of the Year for his song The Soldiers Story about a returning veteran from Afghanistan.
Dale Jones and Ann Heyen are long time Portland performing songwriters who each perform regularly on the Artichoke stage.
Eric Smith is our favorite picker and songwriter.
