Who's on First
Join the APO for the first concert of our 15th season! Who's on First will feature Mozart, Rossini, and Dvorak. These pieces were chosen because they are the first of their kind. Rossini's Overture to Barber of Seville was the first piece the APO performed on the first concert in 2005. Mozart's Bassoon Concerto was one of the first bassoon concertos by a major composer. Dvorak's Symphony No. 6 was initially published as Sym. No. 1, put Dvorak on the scene as a major symphonic composer.
