Creating Community

Joining a community of allies can be a life-changing and life-affirming experience. These short films profile individuals and groups who put their hearts and souls into creating community and celebrate the magic that results. The diverse subjects include a coach of the worlds only collegiate deaf and hard of hearing football team, the founder of a micro bakery making handcrafted sourdough bread accessible through a community barter market, a self-described queer fat southern freak whose photography work with fat bodies in nature transgresses reality, an experimental musician, and older lesbians facing the challenges of aging with an irreverent spirit and a heartening delight in living.
