Yolo County Supervisor Don Saylor's Soup's On for Acme Theatre Company will feature live music from local duo Misner and Smith, delicious soups from local restaurants, an activity room for younger kids, and a special recognition of Acme's founder, Dave Burmester.
Acme Theatre Company is an independent, community theatre group run for and by ninth through twelfth grade artists. For the past 40 years, Acme has provided Yolo youth the opportunity to develop acting, technical theatre' and leadership skills at no cost. Acme has a deep commitment to youth empowerment and telling stories that promote social justice, shared understanding, and human rights.
