WHAT TO EXPECT
Experience this country's rich sacred music heritage through stunning choral arrangements of beloved American folk hymns such as "How Can I Keep from Singing?," "Peace Like a River," and "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing." Most of these songs were popularized in the early 19th century, but the amateur musicians who wrote them continued a long tradition of pairing secular tunes with new religious texts. Choral composers of recent decades such as Alice Parker and Paul Halley have given new life to this spirited music in beautiful settings for world-class vocal ensembles. Join the FAPC Chamber Choir for this joyful celebration of American hymnody.

Note that seniors and students will be seated on the main floor. *In the side balcony, lighting is low and half of the seats have obstructed views; patrons with limited mobility are advised to avoid this area, due to steps and tight floor space.
