Please join us for our ramen fundraiser! Chef Johnny Honda will be preparing a traditional ramen dinner as a fundraiser for Taiko Swingposium.

Choice of broth: Tonkotsu, Shoyu or Vegetarian Miso broth
This will be a fun evening of delicious ramen, community gathering, taiko performances and rockin' 1940's swing music, sake, silent auction and camp raffle (a.k.a dutch raffle). There will be information about Taiko Swingposium (coming January 2020!) and a chance to learn about the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII. Unique bowls made by local artists at the Fire Arts Center will be for sale and usable for this event!
Rockin Ramen is organized by Taiko Swing Humboldt as a fundraiser for Taiko Swingposium, a living history event that pays tribute to big band music and swing dance set in a mess hall at a WWII Japanese American incarceration camp, where guests become part of the narrative from the inside. Tickets for Taiko Swingposium will be available December 2019.
