Oscar Lopez
Oscar Lopez's Latin guitar groove makes him a standout on the world stage. Born in Santiago, Chile, he first learned violin and mandolin which has influenced his rhythmic playing on the guitar. His "soul" instrument, however, is the nylon string guitar.Oscar easily incorporates jazz, roots, and pop sensibilities into his music as he collaborates with other musicians.
St. Andys is a soft-seat venue in Cochrane, AB, that hosts live music of local entertainers. Focusing mostly on roots style of music, St. Andys is known to boast sounds of country folk, folk rock, and blues & soul. With seating for up to 160 people, St. Andys provides an intimate environment to sit and relax on a Friday or Saturday night out. There are always large slices of pie and coffee available for eager attendees to enjoy while they wait for the concert to begin.
