Winter Classics - 12/4 Beethoven String Quartets - Celebrating Beethoven's 250th Birthday
Winter Classics concerts begin a complete cycle of the Beethoven String Quartets with the renowned Ariel Quartet and will be completed in Week One of Northwest Bach Fest, February 23-29, 2020 with the visiting Attacca String Quartet.
The December 4 program includes quartets of Mozart and Bartok to show developmental contrasts with the Beethoven quartets:
Mozart: Adagio and Fugue in C minor, K. 546
Bartok: Quartet No. 1 in A minor, Op. 7/Sz 40
Beethoven: Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 130, No. 13
Barrister Winery is an All-Ages venue with wine sales to ages 21+.
