The Myth of Venice
Tesserae returns to its roots with a performance of large-scale music by Giovanni and Andrea Gabrieli, paired with works from Monteverdi's Selva Morale e Spirituale. Featuring singers, cornetti, sackbuts, and strings, Tesserae recreates the original surround sound experience with some of the most sumptuous and stunning repertoire of the late Renaissance and early Baroque.
