The Tesserae Baroque Orchestra presents a musical portrait of seventeenth-century London, a city with a unique musical language that was influenced by French and Italian music. With music from Matthew Locke's "The Tempest", as well as suites, arias, and fantasias by Purcell, Blow, and Tomkins.
