The HigLeeWils at Pilgrim Chapel
The Hyde Park neighborhood of Kansas City holds a hidden gem, the Pilgrim Chapel. In 1942 the Lutheran Church built the chapel as a church for the deaf. This Church of Silence closed its doors in 1987 and stood quietly empty for the next 10 years. Today, the chapel is open to the public every day for meditation and prayer, and on this special evening, an acoustic concert by The HigLeeWils.
