PRESSED IN BLACK
Shelby County native Kit Haymond started this project in 2008 while he was in high school. The band went through multiple member changes over the last 10 years. Kit ultimately had the vision to create a band that shredded like Hendrix but, jammed like The Clash. That is what brought him to start Pressed In Black. Their first LP was released in 2010 on the band's own label called Half Asleep Records. Pressed in Black's second was LP Chuckwagon Theater. In 2016 they released their third record Conns Creek Reflections which is the most angsty LP to date. Now in 2019 the band features a new lineup with Cole Better on drums and Alex Moss on Bass.
Pressed In Black will be performing in concert at the Strand Theatre in Shelbyville, Indiana. Kit has been performing annually at the Strand since their reopening in 2008.
