Event
Saint Andrew Music Society Benefit
Helen Karloski, mezzo-soprano Alissa Smith, viola Andrew Henderson, piano
Join us for an intimate evening of light hors d'oeuvres and wine, accompanied by vocal and instrumental music by Beethoven and Brahms in a private home on the Upper East Side. The proceeds will offset the significant costs of mounting the March 29 concert featuring large-scale works by these beloved composers. We will hear Brahms's "2 Gesänge," Op. 91, for alto, viola and piano, and an excerpt from Beethoven's "An die ferne Geliebte," Op. 98.
Space is limited to 30 patrons.
