Cowboy Prom featuring Montgomery Brown & His Orchestra of Dust
Howdy pardners, non-pardnered folks, and reg'lar cowpokes alike! The Firefly would like to cordially invite you to the City of Bellingham's first-ever Cowboy Prom, a night to forget, remember, and most of all celebrate the traditions of the wild, wild west right here in town, in all yall's finest cowfolx attire.
The Fireflys first annual Cowboy Prom will feature live performances from local country legends Montgomery Brown & His Orchestra of Dust, as well as some custom-tailored, old-school classic country DJ sets from our resident lasso-slingers Lil' Tex and Pillow Dave.
Heres the short 'n' skinny on what else you can expect at this years Prom:
PHOTO BOOTH: Come early to have your picture taken in our Big Deck Photo Booth, here for one night only! The first ten couples will each receive a brand new blues harp (or harmonica, for the common folks like us), compliments of the house.
DRINK SPECIALS! Well also be featurin some exclusive country, county, and wild west drink specials, so come ready to drown those cowboy tears in whiskey, beer, and whatever else suits yer fancy. Yee haw!
DANCE LESSONS: Resident cowpoke Jackson Boot Scootin ORourke will be teachin yall some authentic Texas country dance moves, so bring yer dancin and/or scootin shoes and/or boots, and get ready to boogie!
ATTIRE: Last but not least, dont forget to come dressed to kill! Cowboy formal attire is STRONGLY encouraged, and at the end of the night the crowd will vote in a Lord and Lady of the Plains, awarded to the best-dressed, most yee-hawin, boot-scootin, cow-pokin (but not like that) couple of the bunch.
