Bach, interrupted
Bach, interrupted: An intimate house concert exploring the intersection between classical music and improvisation. Listen to Violinist Aaron Malone and pianist Eli Staples perform and reimagine works by Bach, Chopin, Prokofiev, Piazzolla, and more, using the compositions of the great artists of the past as jumping off points for spontaneous creation, as well as exploring what the experience of seeing the composers might have been like in live performance. Featuring guest performances by tango bandoneonista Emmanuel Trifilio and jazz bassist Jeff Reed.
