WISCONSIN SINGERS
We are thrilled to present our own Wisconsin Singers this season on Saturday, February 1, 2014. The group, founded in 1967, has evolved over the past 45 years into a professional entertainment company, providing Broadway caliber productions. Their program is run almost entirely by the students themselves and features the most talented singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and stage techs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Wisconsin Singers were founded by Arlie Mucks, then President of the Wisconsin Alumni Association, to serve as Official Ambassadors of Goodwill for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They continue this mission today and receive no funding from the University.
