A poignant dramedy on immigration, love and survival, Juanita takes us on a journey from Madrid to Santo Domingo full of laughter, pathos, and a whole lot of heart.
Juanita, an illegal Dominican immigrant and Mariano, a lonely Spanish farmer, start a relationship. During their first trip to Santo Domingo they will realize that love can be something slippery on the other side of the Atlantic.
