Youth Conversations
Are you a parent who teenager asks what shall I do with my life? just as you are walking out the door? Or are you a teacher whose students have a knack of opening up just as the bell goes?
Conversations rarely seem to happen when we have lots of time to give to them. How can we navigate these moments, making the most of our young peoples willingness to talk?
We notice that using a coaching approach in our conversations with young people significantly increases their ownership of their own outcomes. It encourages them to take responsibility for their lives and decisions and helps them grow into more rounded whole human beings who can truly be themselves.
