Joya Chamber Music Season

The 2019/2020 Joya Chamber Music series will present five concerts.

September 29- One Piano/ Four Hands featuring pianists Timothy Lovelace and Mary Jo Gothmann. Music of Beethoven, Barber, Dvorak and Poulenc.

November 17- Anthony Ross, cello and Mary Jo Gothmann, piano. Minnesota Orchestra Principal Cellist Anthony Ross returns to Joya in music of Martinu, Bloch, Mendelssohn and Heitzeg.

January 19- Osmo Vänskä, clarinet, Erin Keefe, violin and Mary Jo Gothmann, piano. Minnesota Orchestra's Osmo and Erin perform works of Beethoven, Arutiunian, Sibelius, Schubert and Vänskä.

March 29- Charles Lazarus, trumpet and Douglas Wright, trombone. Minnesota Orchestra brass phenoms play a wide variety of music-- some featuring organ.

May 3- Piano Trios-- James Garlick, violin, Scott Lykins, cello and Mary Jo Gothmann unite in a program of piano trios including works by Brahms and Jonathan Posthuma.

All concerts take place on Sundays at 3:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka. Season tickets are available for $50 for all five concerts. Single concert tickets are $20 and available at the door. Admission is always free for students.
