Breathe out. Listen in. Join Blueridge and the Polygon Gallery as we embark on a contemplative journey through musical time. Experience emerging Tahltan/Tlinglit composer Edzius Kime Ani: inspired by her familys ancient tradition of storytelling, the soundwork explores issues of culture and identity through archival recordings of three generations of her family. Also featured is one of the most monumental chamber works of the 20th century, Morton Feldmans For Philip Guston. Clocking in at over 4 hours long, the piece weaves a softly mesmerizing sound world that draws the listener into an ever-deepening state of magic and meditation. This event is held in conversation with the Polygons exhibition of Christian Marclays groundbreaking video installation The Clock.
